Looking for the perfect card for an old miner, grandad, socialist or pit enthusiast? Then this Davy Lamp greetings card is the card for you.
A reproduction of the original lino print ‘Davy Lamp’ by lino cut artist Lazy Dave.
My grandad, Jack Davison, was a North East Miner and throughout my life, he always fondly told me stories of his time working down the pit. Even when he sadly contracted alzheimer’s in his later life and he was struggling with his memory, we could still talk about his time down the pit as though it had happened yesterday. This is a similar lamp to the one he used in Vane Tempest Colliery in the 1950’s. It feels very much so a firm part of my heritage, as I’m sure it will to a lot of other people too.
Available in size A5 and printed on high quality, 350gsm Silk, card stock.
White envelope included.
The centre is blank for your own message.

The now sold out, original print was a limited edition of 15.
To cut down on the amount of plastic packaging, greetings cards are not sent in a cello bag. However, I’m more than happy to pop a greetings card in a cello bag if required.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a reproduction and NOT an original lino print.
