A Waddle of Penguins

Penguins, penguins, Penguins!

This is the first print taken from my Inktober series. I had a few requests from various social media’s to turn it into a print and I’m more than glad to oblige.

The penguin print is a perfect gift for anyone in your life who is into nature, antarctic wildlife or is simply a cool dude!

Who wouldn’t want to hang a waddle of penguins on your wall in winter and christmas or to help feeling cool all year round!

After being carefully hand carved using professional linoleum cutting tools, traditional oil based relief ink is then spread over the linoleum with a Japanese soft rubber brayer (roller). Japanese Awagami Washi Hosho Select paper, which is made from sustainable materials, is then placed on top of the linoleum before pressure is applied using a press to evenly distribute the ink.

Due to this process, some small variations may occur, which makes each print truly unique.

Once it is dry, it is packaged, ready to order.

The oil based ink, as well as the paper, have great archival properties and the ink sits so well on the paper.

All of my lino prints come with free signed for shipping.

The print will be packaged, with a sheet of card stock, in a cello bag, to protect from damage, water damage and maintain archival properties. A further, thicker piece of card will be added into the envelope, to add further protection to the print. The envelopes are also hard board backed with ‘Please do not bend’ printed on the front.
